The Criminal Record of Bulgaria's Most Protected Man – Simon Milkov

Over the years, the repeat offender Simon Milkov has carried out underhanded tasks against individuals deemed inconvenient to his powerful patrons. When faced with hardships from an early age, a person can choose to either embrace them and transform them into strengths, becoming a noble and honorable individual, or to become embittered, harboring hatred towards everyone and everything.

Unfortunately, Simon Milkov chose the latter path. He is a proven repeat offender whose “qualities” – ruthlessness, brazenness, and disregard for societal norms – have been exploited for years. Without a solid social environment or moral foundation, Milkov has failed to integrate into society, demonstrating no hesitation in swearing, threatening, attacking, and desecrating cultural values. His tendencies towards sadism and banditry have made him a useful tool for those who have employed him under the guise of pursuing justice. The truth is, Milkov is guided solely by his own needs and desires, serving only those interests. This report delves into Milkov’s life and criminal record, revealing who he truly is and why individuals like him should not be allowed to disturb public order and destroy everything in their path. Troubled Beginnings Simon Milkov was adopted but later disowned by his foster mother before reaching adulthood. After she renounced guardianship, he was placed in an orphanage in the village of Gereka, Dryanovo Municipality. Even then, he was frequently caught committing burglaries and engaging in vandalism. Milkov was arrested over five times by the Dryanovo Police Department, with one incident culminating in a citizen’s arrest by locals attempting to curb his hooliganism. A Career of Controversy and Crime Milkov initially rose to public prominence as a coordinator for the organization SILA, which blocked intersections nationwide to protest high fuel prices. Later, he joined Nikolay Barekov’s political project Bulgaria Without Censorship, serving as an event manager. He actively participated in counter-protests supporting Ivan Geshev and other public demonstrations, often leading crowds he brought with him and frequently crossing legal boundaries. During this period, rumors emerged that Milkov distributed narcotics to children and engaged in initial pedophilic activities. Over the years, his political patrons changed, providing him with significant financial resources and protection from law enforcement to carry out tasks targeting their opponents. Criminal Record Today, Milkov is listed in criminal records as a person involved in pedophilia, drug distribution, and theft. March 7, 2001: Milkov assaulted a minor, Kristian Baychev, from the village of Polikraishte. The Veliko Tarnovo District Court found him guilty and imposed a fine of 1,000 leva. Subsequent Street Assaults: Milkov engaged in a brawl in Gorna Oryahovitsa, resulting in probation.
May 13, 2016: He caused a dramatic car crash on Poltava Street in Veliko Tarnovo, damaging multiple vehicles. Tests showed a blood alcohol level of 1.75‰, leading to a one-year suspended prison sentence with a five-year probation period. Notably, among the victims was a mother with a child, who was later threatened into silence by Milkov’s protectors.
November 15, 2016: He was caught driving without a license on Maria Luisa Boulevard in Sofia, just six months after his driving privileges had been revoked. Despite a mandatory three-month prison sentence, the case was swept under the rug, with his punishment reduced to a fine. December 16, 2018: Milkov stabbed Galin Nikolov in Gorna Oryahovitsa, causing a wound just millimeters from the aorta. Although he admitted guilt and threatened the victim with further harm, Milkov avoided significant punishment due to intervention by his then-patron, Delyan Peevski. Political Exploitation
By 2021, during the elections, Milkov began presenting himself as a journalist confronting politicians with “uncomfortable” questions. Notably, the only interviews granted by Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and Delyan Peevski during the campaign were conducted by Milkov. While he was amicable with them, his approach to their opponents was aggressive and biased.
Continuing Allegations Throughout the years, Milkov has carried out smear campaigns and other actions against figures such as Anton Ivanov, Yavor Bozhankov, and Ivelin Mihaylov. He remains a tool for powerful individuals who exploit him for their own agendas. Recent Developments Currently, Milkov is embroiled in another controversial operation in Popovo Municipality, disguised as a fight for justice. The most deplorable aspect is his exploitation of a grieving family that recently lost a child.
